Tales Around the World

As part of our Around the World Expedition, we are studying cultures. We are studying our own cultures and cultures around the world. I kicked off our tale unit in reader's workshop with American Tall Tales. We then learned about folk tales, fables, pourquoi tales, trickster tales, fairy tales and more. We spent an entire week reading Cinderella stories from around the world. For the ones I didn't have, I had my kids watch them on youtube. I have links to 3 Reading Response FREEBIES!
